Or, Norv just rules all. Did you ever think of that?

Thanks for all the responses to my question about run defense. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the way the Bucs were running against the starters and Texas Vike, you made a good point about the ease with which TB passed the ball against the Vikes backups. Waynes, in particular, was picked on again.

Teddy Bridgewater. His numbers were great again, even if they were once again achieved in a relatively safe manner. I'm giving him a blue chip grade because how safe he makes you feel when he's on the field. Teddy is accurate, confident, and smart with the ball. Isn't that great? After spending most of the past five seasons with an impending sense of doom every time a Vikings quarterback dropped back, the sense of calm Bridgewater projects is incredibly refreshing.

Improving run defense is Vikings' priority As the Vikings showed vs. Bucs, proper positioning is the key to improvement.
A leaner Doug Martin, who led the Bucs in rushing with 494 yards and a 3.7 average a year ago, used his cutback ability to gouge the Vikings with consecutive runs of 5, 8 and 7 yards.
“It was a little bit of a concern because you don’t want to start like that,” coach Mike Zimmer said Tuesday. “But we had the point of attack taken care of. They were just cutbacks and we overpursued a little bit.”
On the first run, Martin’s initial target was over left guard. Nose tackle Linval Joseph occupied two blockers while middle linebacker Audie Cole stood up the fullback in the hole.
Martin cut right and found an opening because weak-side linebacker Chad Greenway had moved too far into the strong side of the play and was tied up when the left guard came off Joseph.
“I don’t think I want to read too much into those first set of plays,” Greenway said. “But obviously we don’t want to give up that kind of yardage either. Our discipline was pretty good. And at the end of the day, we gave up one first down in those first two drives” with all the starters, except Anthony Barr, in the game.
Kendricks is going to be nice in all phases of LB. We FINALLY have a cover MIKE, thats can rush, stop the run, blitz, and hide it all nicely from the QB. IF Barr is as good as promised, thats about as good a pair of LBs most NFL teams will see. And they are young)

I agree with his potential. The only thing I question is his pass-rush skills. Kendricks himself has said he didn't do much of that in college and he has a ways to go in that area. I look forward to the former teammates (maybe with crazy Hodges) wreaking havoc together sooner rather than later.

I'm watching this game for the 3rd time ( lol ) now on NFL Network and the more I watch this, the more I like DuJuan Harris. He's a pretty hard runner and really shifty

Harris was a fan favriote in GB for the same reasons, alot of people thought he was the answer to our running game woes but then we drafted Lacy and Harris got hurt.

Yeah I really like him but chances are, he doesnt make the team. Hopefully a practice squad guy. I like him much better than Banyard.
