Nothing has been reported other than he's "out" for the rest of the game. They play and reactions by teammates and Phil were not good. Didn't like the cart coming out, either. Hopefully he dodged a bullet. Will have to wait to hear.CbusVikesFan wrote:So what is the extent of Loadholts injury? any preliminary news?

Oh no...I spoke too soon. NOOO
@RapSheet
#Vikings OT Phil Loadholt suffered a torn Achilles, source said. After he’d worked his way back from last year. Brutal.

Best case scenario this is like KWill's knee injury a few years back. Major sprain that he ends up being able to play through. I'm not hopeful, though.dead_poet wrote: Nothing has been reported other than he's "out" for the rest of the game. They play and reactions by teammates and Phil were not good. No. No. No.
@ArifHasanNFL Loadholt was having the best camp of any OL, too. Fantastic work.

EDIT: I would also like to commend the profanity filter for picking up GMFD all as one word.
That's GD with MFing in the middle, for those who can't figure that out.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

I think it's a combination of the Vikings having a game under their belt and a rookie qb. The first team offense really hasn't finished a long drive yet this preseason.DK Sweets wrote:=/
I was enjoying keeping teams out of the end zone.
I wonder how much of this performance is directly caused from Zim-rage?
I'm feeling much better about Hill.

Looks like 6-9 month recovery. Phil likely done for the season. I hate the preseason.

Thoughts at (almost) halftime:
Blanton is really underrated by our fanbase. People should really start recognizing how steady he is.
Our WRs are deadly. It could be argued that Mike Wallace has been the least impressive receiver so far this preseason. That's awesome.
Teddy is poised for a big year.
Our LBs look pretty deep. If Barr can stay healthy, this defense could be dynamite.
I'm very, very worried about our O-Line right now. Fortunately, we have a lot of WRs who a best working underneath.
Overall, I'm very impressed with our team.

TEs will be a focus with Teddy.
We'll go as far as our offensive line will take us.
Exum vs. Blanton seems to be a battle to watch.
