Agreed. Less stinky, anyway.

Anyone think any of these backup RBs has a chance to take a roster spot from (presumably) Asiata?

I think the refs like to pick on rooking CBs, especially when they are a bit grabby

I was skeptical of all of the Diggs hype but just watching him on a couple of plays, I really think he's the real deal. He just looks like the kind of guy that, if he has the ball in his hands, he could score from anywhere on the field at any time.

He will be better than Percy!!!!

Dunno—I'd prefer to see Ellison as the FB/H-Back in the small proportion of plays that Norv calls for it. Use Line's roster spot elsewhere.

Not much to complain about on D tonight. The Pittsburgh QB isn't exactly playing lights-out, and they've got a TE who's made two huge drops in the clutch, but overall the D seems to me to be looking reasonably good.

Had to laugh at that, I was in Pittsburgh in December of 1992 when the Vikings beat the Steelers 6 to 3, we were wearing Vikings jerseys and some jerks started to try and start a fight, a nice Steelers girl broke it up.
Hey, I was there too. We were up on the 3rd level. That was a Bubby Brister/Sean Salisbury sleeper. But that was a great defensive battle though.
I have had nothing but great experiences at the old 3 Rivers anyways. Also went to the Robert Smith "sock TD" game and tailgated before the game with a bunch of Steelers fans.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

They gave up a couple of long 3rd downs tha tI didn't like, but I agree, not too bad.

I think we are going to enjoy the Vikes this year. Lots of work to do, esp. on 3rd downs again, but we got the coaches, talent, and maybe the GM we need to be the new annual leader of our division. And I hope we do it while AD is here.

Very exited about the season.

I was looking forward to watching Trae Waynes and I have to say he really didn't look ready. He is the one I wanted drafted too so I hope he improves his positioning and plays.

Bridgewater looked really mechanical. The rest of the preseason game went about the way I thought pretty sloppy but there were many second+ stringers out there.
