@Andrew_Krammer Told #Vikings rookie T.J. Clemmings left the field for a 'minor issue' today that isn't related to his foot.

Sneaking this one in here.

Greg Childs was in camp with the CFL Winnipeg Blue Bombers this pre-season when, according to the Winnipeg Sun, he suffered an Achilles tendon tear during the Blue Bombers' training camp and will almost certainly miss the entire CFL season. http://www.dailynorseman.com/2015/6/4/8 ... s-continue

Poor guy.

Man, you just have to feel bad for Childs. That guy just can't catch a break.

No doubt. Wishing only the best for Childs.

I wonder what the deal is with Child's tendons? That is what 4 or 5 tears in 5 years? Really tragic for the guy, but maybe athletic pursuits are just not for him for whatever reason. Wish him all the best, that is terrible news.

@mattvensel Meant to tweet this out yesterday but #Vikings DC George Edwards said Brian Robison will "probably" be ready for the start of training camp.

@TomPelissero #Vikings LB Anthony Barr is sitting out OTAs again this week, but word is his knee issue is nothing scary. No reason to push him in June.

Zimmer's comments about this were weird...can't help but wonder if this is nothing to do with the knee. Maybe he has Mono. 8)

Do we think this is the year they will slowly start to phase out B Rob and possible try to integrate Crichton in, or will he have to serve another years learning apprenticeship similar to what griffin went through when Allen was there?

I think they want to phase out Robison ASAP. I predict Hunter filling a role more similar to what Griffin did for a couple years, backing up various positions. I think after this year Robison gets the Greg Jennings treatment.

at this point i can't see how anyone wouldn't be alarmed with barr's situation. he has had 2 injuries to his knee in less than one year and was on the field one day so far? he has injury prone written all over him at this point.

Agreed... And now I did it. Can we just lock this thread so that the injuries don't happen

Zimmer has said it's not the same injury and not a long-term concern. May not even be the same knee. Let's not be so quick to label him injury-prone. Zimmer said he should be fine for training camp.
