The picks get turned in before they are announced. The next team in line gets the pick and is on the clock well before the commish announces the pick.

Hate to use the word "reach" in this draft but Shaq Thompson at #25 looks like a pretty big reach to me.

I love Shaq Thompson, I don't think he deserved to fall as far as many had him in mock drafts. The kid is all over the field and makes plays, and is versatile. I had him compared to the same guy who made the pick, Thomas Davis.

This is where draft boards start to really diverge from the prognosticators. NFL.com (presumably Mayock) had the last two picks with 3rd round grade. 78th and 80th best players...
