I think it would be accurate to say that most Packers fans realize the Vikings have a young talented squad and when you consider that AP runs all over us on a consistent basis, id say yea, only a fool would write off a Bridgewater/AP spearheaded squad.
And yea, I think most Packers fans are really tired of AP, and would love for him to be dealt far from this division, far from Lambeau field, I know I do. Peterson is the best RB I've had the pleasure of watching but my lord am I sick of him.
haha, nice post, I've thought as much and figured our division rivals would be ecstatic should AP be moved, which is how you know anything other than a block buster trade is a bad deal for us. Bottom line, there aren't that many players that scare teams as much as AP that don't play QB. He's the type of player where if your team gets hot for the playoffs and he's still healthy he can take you to the superbowl.
I'm sure you remember a couple years ago jordy when we went 10-6 and made the playoffs with the clown show that was Ponder / Frazier / Musgrave and the 2 games against the pack AP ran for what like 410 yards or something? Now that our team can actually play defense and Bridgewater can fill that russel wilson role, if Peterson plays like that again I don't know how anyone could say "the vikings have no chance at a superbowl in the next 2 years".
Of course he may not play at that level again, but they said that after his ACL tear too so at this point I wouldn't bet against AP.
