I am not exactly sure what point you are trying to make but right up until his injury Barr was right there for defensive ROY of the year. If it is a pat on the back or some kind of kudo your looking for being right about Barr being a bust you are striking out with me anyway. Barr is a stud and will, by all reason, pick right up where he left off

Im not "looking" for anything in particular outside of good discussion or entertainment value of how everyone on this board can watch the same game, same plays, and same people, but have such far differing opinions about how good or bad someone played or is as a general player. I don't think Barr is a bust, but I don't see him as the Stud that most of the people on this board like to make him out to be. I guess if its all relative, and we are comparing him to Erin Henderson, or one of the other revolving door of mediocre LBs we have had over the past 10 years, then yeah, he looks pretty good. But if you set him next to some of the top guys that play the position/scheme similar to what he is, then he isn't among the best. And earlier, I was referencing that I pretty much said the same thing about CP84 last year around this time, and feel like I proved myself right. I love the vikings, and I have certain players that I really love to watch and follow closely. But I also see myself as a realist, and Vikings have very few players that are in the top 5 of their respective positions.. even top 10 if you really get down to it. Yet every year, we will have someone talking about how all our guys got screwed out of the Pro Bowl, that we have a top this or top that.. I just haven't found them. AP is as close to a top 5 guy we have, and he didn't play last year at all. Harrison Smith is a great player IMO, but still not cracking top 5 safety.
But hey, I was off the charts wrong about Matt Kalil a couple years ago, I thought he was the second Coming of Joe Thomas.. boy was I wrong.
