Hasn't Wallace been a problem on Miami? Discussions of him walking off the field....not sure I would want that personality on the team.

I hope that they are not going to trade Patterson for him :steamed:

Vikings traded 5th-round pick to Miami for WR Mike Wallace and 7th-round pick, per league source.

That's win in my opinion. We were right on the Vikings giving up a 5th round pick, but kind of surprised the Vikings got a 7th in return too. Not bad at all, Spielman.

Wonder if its a straight up trade for CP.
How do you figure?? He's a perfect fit for Norvs offense

(gulp)....is this the end of Adam Thielen's reign of terror?

I for one welcome our new wideout overlord and hope he makes a believer outta me....but I'm booing this trade.

A 5th for a 7th and the player is not bad at all on the surface. I wonder what the salary details will be. Hopefully, there aren't attitude problems that come along with the deal....

My guess is, it's our own 5th. Not Buffalo which is good

Mike Wallace eh?

I don't really understand the move. Greg Jennings is probably gone now. Not a fan of taking on Wallace's contract.

But whatever. This team needs a deep threat at WR. This could work out or it could fail.

He won't ever get away with that with Zimmer. I'm not worried

If you think about it, a guy like Wallace fits Turners vertical offense perfectly. To give up only a 5th and get a 7th and Wallace in return is a great trade IMo

I was wondering if this would happen. I'm not a fan of his attitude or contract but he can stretch a defense. Now if Teddy can improve on his deep ball and, more importantly, we can buy/draft him some time with our line or he'll still get killed with Norv's 5-7-step drops.

Wallace has talent, man. He'll be out to prove something. Miami was never a great fit. I think Minnesota and with Teddy, it will be. Johnson, Wallace and Jarius is an underrated group.

The question is what happens with the trio of Jennins, CP and Thielen?
