Whatever. It's not like the Vikings are loaded at the position, so he holds some value for the team. Sure, why not?

Apparently, he texted his teammates that he was going to Minnesota.

Hopefully he is willing to take a pay cut to come here. IIRC he signed a big money contract. Hopefully give up nothing more than a 5th.

Lulzing@ Peaches & Herb....but I think it's more a case of Captain & Tenille(sp)

If it's true about Wallace, although I'm not believing anything until it's official from now on, maybe Patterson is gone?

I like the Wallace move, but I'm wondering what we're giving up and what it means for Greg Jennings. He's still owed a good bit of money, and I think he has another year left in him. Wallace, Jennings, Johnson, Wright and Patterson would give us a very deep set of WRs, at the very least.
We also badly need to restructure Greenway's deal. Wallace and Michael Johnson would make today a good day.

LOL Mike Wallace. Almost as exciting as Sean Hill (who isnt exciting, just the little cash and a few postilions in the draft we got).
Wonder if its a straight up trade for CP.

Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero
Mike Wallace texted teammates saying he'd been on phone with Minny GM Rick Spielman, HC Mike Zimmer, & he was likely headed to Vikes.
Salguero is a credible source. Wallace is under contract for the next three years with some pretty big numbers; $9.9M this year and $11M the next two years. Miami is looking shed contacts after the Suh deal. If we are doing this, seems to me something else has to be in the works with Patterson, Jennings or Greenway.

The contract is ugly, but honestly I don't think the Vikings can have it both ways in terms of changing the contract terms and giving a lower pick.
Minnesota probably only gives up a 5th, which Miami is fine with because Minnesota takes on the contract.

I'm kinda meh on Wallace. He's an upgrade and all, but I was hoping for a vet DB or LB.
Wallace is going to be as pricey as Jennings I would think. Assuming AD returns....that's a big chunk of change spent on offense.
Who knows though?
