we should go after brandon marshall. the way he trains he has a good 5 years left in him and the man is simply a monster.
Re: 2015 Offseason - Free Agent/Draft Tracker
I like Marshall as a player, but having Marshall and Jennings at the top of our depth chart doesn't leave a lot of time for our top guys to be around...and they won't be cheap.
Re: 2015 Offseason - Free Agent/Draft Tracker
I wouldn't want him in the locker room and around the young players. I hope Spielman/Zimmer feel the same way. He's still a really good player but some guys just aren't worth the trouble.mosscarter wrote:we should go after brandon marshall. the way he trains he has a good 5 years left in him and the man is simply a monster.

I'd like to have Marshall too. Also, isn't Marshall working out with Teddy and Charles Johnson in Miami?

I think you might be thinking of who he was when he was younger, not who he is now.Vikings28 wrote: I wouldn't want him in the locker room and around the young players. I hope Spielman/Zimmer feel the same way. He's still a really good player but some guys just aren't worth the trouble.

actually if you really read into marshall he has totally changed his life around and raises a ton of money for people with borderline personality disorders. he gets a bad rap sometimes because he calls out his teammates, but so what? cutler is a total bum i would have been complaining that entire season.

Just had two separate locker room blowups last season. Also created more noise with his comments on Inside the NFL. I was just listening to Albert Breer earlier today and he said one of the reasons for a trade/release would be to change the culture and get better people in the locker room.DK Sweets wrote:I think you might be thinking of who he was when he was younger, not who he is now.

I would love Marshall. Very talented passionate guy. I mean I know the Patriots and their HC are nothing but saints, but lets stray from the path.

This effing guy. I love it, I'm just not entirely sure what it means.PurpleKoolaid wrote:I would love Marshall. Very talented passionate guy. I mean I know the Patriots and their HC are nothing but saints, but lets stray from the path.

Would like to see Marshall in purple. Big receiver with great hands. I love the fact that he called out cry-baby Cutler. That seems to be the whole "locker room trouble" issue. It would be nice if he gave up the broadcasting until when his career is over, though. The guy can ball, period. I think Jennings and Marshall would hit it off and be great mentors for CP and rookie wr if they draft one. Teddy working out with Brandon is even better.
Sign/trade for Marshall then go get Waynes with 1st round pick and Devin Smith/OGB/Funchess in second. AP sticks around and this offense is ready to go and scary to defensive coordinators.
Two shut-down corners with captain in the slot. Harrison and Blanton/veteran FA (dreaming of McCourty) Hodges and Barr LB. Griff/Floyd/Joseph/Brob. looks good to me.

I can't imagine anyone who doesn't want Peterson here because of his off the field/character issues wanting Marshall!?!?!!
"You like that!"
