Dude just let it go. It's a simple slant route, it was ran perfectly, teddy needs to lead the receiver. Patterson needs to catch the ball though.

It's funny on plays like these, fans automatically excuse the player who's played well and try to blame it on the struggling player. Truth is that's on both of them, bad pass, but catchable.

If it is catchable that is all that needs to be said.

Teddy's throws to Jennings and Patterson weren't on target where his WRs were expecting it, but they were on target to complete the pass and not have the WRs get slammed by the safety.

So, yes, those throws are on Teddy but if he throws were the route dictated, Jennings and Patterson probably would have gotten blown up. Good QBs keep their WRs safe and that's what those throws were showing us.

That's not defending CP, it's just pointing out that the route Thielen ran wasn't anything special, just a fly pattern which doesn't take much talent to run.

All I was simply saying is that that play had nothing to do with his route running. That was pretty clear. The ball was thrown behind him and he missed the catch but it had nothing to do with his route running. It's just an excuse for some fans to run to when he doesn't do what they want him to
