I was thinking the same thing! And against the Lions defense. And without any big YAC to bolster the total.

The first INT today - I thought Johnson gave up on the pattern. Anyone have a better view of it? The second one was Teddy's fault, but I thought #1 was due to CJ not completing the route.

Yes, it was a loss, but I put it on the plus side of the ledger for whether I think Teddy is going to be a stud QB or not.

It looked to me like it was just badly overthrown, which, if I recall correctly, is basically what Ronde Barber said on the broadcast. I don't think Johnson gave up on it. It was just a poor throw.

I'm very encouraged by Teddy today, but the INT's are all chalked up to him. Kept the Lions alive when othetwise I felt they had a chance to bury them early. Walsh didn't help at all, but you don't want to be finding excuses like that.

And he's putting up those numbers throwing to washed up vet, and a few guys who would probably rarely see the field on most teams. A guy they signed off the practice squad. A guy that belongs on special teams and is probably a better back than receiver. Heck his backfield is minus the only two backs that can do anything to make yards on their own. Offensive line in shambles. Rudolph is clearly still gimpy (and overrated to begin with).

Man with the holes on defense, and players coming back next year this team should be more than competitive for the division title, not to mention the wild card.

I said this same exact thing 2 weeks ago against Carolina and nobody really acknowledged it. I like Johnson and think he has a lot of potential but he has a bad habit of not finishing routes. Go watch Rudolphs TD against Carolina, you can see it perfectly. Same thing against Chicago and TB as well. Teddy had him for a deep ball against TB and he half a##ed the route so in turn, it ended up being overthrown

I agree with most of this as well. The only thing I don't is the part of Rudolph being overrated. He had 7 catches today which was tied for the lead on the team and he's clearly not even 100%. Norvs offense is going to do nothing but help him. Just about every TE Norv has had has been successful in this offense and Rudolph definitely has the tools. I think next year when he is back to 100%, he will be a highly touted threat in this offense

Except for the fact that Stafford didn't turn the ball over and Teddy had 2 costly interceptions and in the end the only thing that counts is a W and we didn't get it.

That could be the difference between a veteran and a rookie with only 10 starts under his belt. Teddy is definitely continuing to improve week after week no matter what way you look at it
