I'm telling you, Bridgewaters gonna roll out onto the field like Shane Falco in The Replacements to start the second half, in slow motion with "there goes my hero" playing in the background. Instant chubbie if that happens.

They don't want the Ponder infection to spread electronically.

Hardwood basketball courts have some give. Also bball players are don' have to carry the extra weight of equipment that football requires. bball players are thinner and. lighter

Not really, he can look at the game film and study it afterwards. Not sure what good it does to listen in just to know what the live play call is.

I've seen my fair share of bad Vikings games since 1972 when I became a fan. This one so far ranks near the top. Sad

For the ankle, it goes both ways for both sports. Basketball is a constant risk, but football has a one play bigger risk potential. I sprained my ankle this year in bball only to play 3 days later and re sprained it when someone fell on it it but was alright the next week. If you asked me to go stand behind an oline that cant block? Oh boy

On the bright side we have Lions, Bills, Bucs and Redskins before the bye week, so we can definitely go 4-0 as long as Bridgewater is healthy.

Just come out and run the ball. Run the clock and keep the ball away from Green Bay.

A game like this is why i think our defense has been better than their stats. Due to offensive ineptitude, we've given the packers seven drives already. We gave the falcons only ten drives all game because the offense could keep drives going. That's four extra drives -maybe 100 extra yards given up on average.

The only positives in this game have come while the defense is on the field!

Yeah, and they said whether he started would be a game time decision when in reality they had already made that decision on Tuesday. Don't believe everything you hear about injuries.

Maybe after the lions ...if we can't score on greenbay D I can't see us winning against the lions
Lions front 4 is better the greenbays

What's getting lost in another non-stop #### fest about Christian Ponder is that for the third time this season, the offensive line is playing poorly. They are playing as poorly tonight as they played well on Sunday. Poor blitz pick-up, ineffective run-blocking, inadequate pass protection... if we don't see a string of seriously good, consistent performances from the line before this season is over, I think Zimmer, Spielman and company need to seriously consider dismantling that line and rebuilding a significant portion of it.

I'm going to say the same thing about Turner's game plan tonight too. He did a great job last week, setting Bridgewater up with an ideal game plan for a rookie making his first start. Tonight, Green Bay obviously studied film of Sunday's game, decided to take away the quick-hitting stuff that worked for Bridgewater and Norv doesn't seem to have a Plan B, or any idea how to get the ball to his playmakers. Where's the spread he used last week? Where's Patterson? Jennings? Did he think they were going to beat GB with Asiata and Ellison and keep Ponder in a clean pocket all night?

When playing it way too conservative goes wrong. I know people want to play doctor on here, but there are NBA players who have to go 3 times a week on a hard court that can play on tweaked ankles. Vikings played it way too cautiously here.

Normally i'd say one loss isn't a big deal, but Vikings had a real chance to send a message and gain some divisional confidence.
what worries me is that maybe the injury is worse than they are letting on .
