I've been waiting for him to go for a long time now. However, some loved him for whatever reason. I don't think it was a horrible idea re-signing him simply for depth but it doesn't hurt us that he is gone. I would take CP, Greg and Jarius over him any day. He can cause trouble and jump around like an idiot for someone else now. Adios you're gross

Im sad to see him go, I know im in the minority here. He was our best, non packer, on the team. Wright isn't worthy of a 7th rounder. CP, as awesome as he is, isn't a great WR. For now at least, he will be though. Simpson was clutch, and about the only celebration I liked in the NFL, when he got the first down. No matter how hard he was hit. Does Theiland get his spot now, and what happens when the vikes dump Simpson?

Sad to see him be a dummy and, (subsequently) sad to see him go.

He was definitely a spark, but if he cannot keep out of trouble there's not really a reliable spot on a roster for someone like that.

Perhaps there was bold writing on the wall already and this was a 'don't care anymore' move, but it doesn't matter either way.
