Yes, they called it an illegal pick which is technically offensive PI.yezzir wrote:Can someone who knows more than me please explain how that is PI on Jennings? Pick?

That #### call really screwed us there. Maybe the league will give us another unhelpful apology later

I don't see how our first two great outings can go to crap so quickly.

No doubt. Mayo actually hit Jennings with his shoulder. Even if they don't call that on Mayo because it's within 5 yards, it's certainly not a penalty on Jennings.Crax wrote:That #### call really screwed us there. Maybe the league will give us another unhelpful apology later

Go ahead. I dare you.

Viking cant do anything right. Pats are playing like they are at home. Kalil is stinking up the place, just like last year. Guess he has another injury.

2 picks, overthrown passes. Cassel is awful, but hey, let's keep him in.soflavike wrote: Yeah, throw the rookie in to face Belichick's defense. Great idea.
When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front row seat.

And your point being ???? Only stat that matters is score.J. Kapp 11 wrote: Except for their field goal, they haven't had a significant drive that didn't come off a turnover (including the blocked kick).

Is that why Kalil isnt blocking anyoneyezzir wrote: Teddy won't play unless Cassel gets hurt.
Re: Patriots @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 2
The game, IMO, is much closer than the score indicates. The long int return and the blocked FG returned for a TD masks a pretty competent game so far for the Vikings. It's 24-7, but it feels like a pretty good 24-7 given we are playing the Pats and given the incompetent play the past few years. Meh, I'll take it despite the score.

Andrew Krammer @Andrew_Krammer
As soon as it looked like Cassel was back on track, he whiffs on open pass to Patterson and FG blocked. #Patriots lead 24-7, pending PAT

I agree with coach Zimmer. Quit hurting yourself with mistakes and they will be alright
I still think the Vikings pull this one out in the end.
