Bridgewater told me he wants to get his weight in the 225 range. He's moving to Minneapolis ... Now. Having his stuff shipped. Going to work.
This is the guy who said we traded up for Johnny, and now he's chatting it up with Teddy to get some hits. I don't believe a word he says.

Jay Glazer was the first to say we tried to trade up for Manziel and he's rarely wrong. Bridgewater had a sit down interview with Breer on NFL Network so he probably told him this then.

Well Jay is going to have to do better than "a source" in order to convince me, because I don't buy it. All things considered Johnny was not a sensible choice for us, and a very dangerous one for Rick Spielman's job.

According the Zimmer via star tribune. He is not against Bridgewater starting this year. Says it is a competition and he hopes that Bridgewater wins out.

that's not quite what he said... But I could see a "Russell Wilson" thing happening this year, I Think Zimmer is smart enough to do something like that. Neither Frazier nor Childress would have ever done that.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." ‪#‎SKOL2018

I'm still a little worried. He was finally given his chance to be a head coach, by Spielman. His press conference seemed a little different then what you would expect from him. Is he going to feel like he owes Spielman something? Hopefully not. He got where he is by being who he is. Let's hope he stays that way.

After Frazier, probably a little paranoid. He was the ultimate in yes men....trying to please everyone. Happy to be where he was. etc.

The more that I read, hear and watch of this kid the more that I like him. I am pulling for him to be the QB the Vikes have long been waiting for.

You guys just don't know how happy I am right now!!!! Teddy Bridgewater!!!!!! I didn't think we ever had a chance of getting him before the draft started. I thought he and Manziel would be off the boards before they got to #8 or in our case #9. But we got him at #32!!!!!!!!! I never been this excited about a QB we drafted before. I really believe Bridgewater may be the one who finally takes us to the super bowl and win.

Except he didn't buy it. Cadillac gave it to his mom for free for publicity.

Interesting contrast to Manziel's first purchase: a round of Miller light and a shot for some 200 patrons at a Dallas bar.

LOL do you think he wouldn't have bought his mom one? Either way she was getting a Cadillac. It was a nice gesture regardless.

Which is a good point. The fact that it was purchased (for publicity) by the dealership still means Bridgewater (at least indirectly) "got it for her." I'm sure he'd have bought it for her, if the dealership hadn't...
