Yes. You also have to give them the ball.
And there's no easier guy to get involved than a RB. That's why I'm not worried about this, you literally just hand the ball to him and he runs. He doesn't need to know a million different plays and routes and options on those routes and audibles. He's not coming in to be the quarterback nor a WR, this is a RB folks. Heck if Joe Webb had a few more pounds on him or this guys frame we probably should have made HIM the backup RB.
This guy will be a beast running the football and Spielman says he can catch. (senior bowl, combine) In time he'll pick up the pass blocking and be exactly what we need as a backup RB compared to the same thing AD was (gerhart) but worse in every way.

Unless he's there to spell AD or be a third down guy. Then you run into routes, protections, etc. Isn't that easy. If it was even meat head would have figured it out by now.
Anyone else thing that Zimmer might be planning to have Crichton be a LB? I've heard it 3 or 4 times already. He fits the Zimmer mold for a LB. Stout, high aggression players who weigh more than you typically think a LB would. I know he's slow, but so is Brinkley, and so were his guys from Cincy.
I kinda think that Barr might be best suited playing on the line as well with how big and fast he is. You never know, B-Rob might be a LB in this scheme as well.

It's like being a relief pitcher. You're the specialist who needs to be perfect every time out, or at least 8 or 9 out of 10 times, to be effective. Same goes for all of your reserves.
