Seattle racking up the picks, probably getting a little cocky with all their later round hits.

Maybe, can't argue with their scouting.

As for the Vikings coming back into the 2nd, don't count on it. Their 3rd and 5th isn't enough to trade up except maybe into the very very end of the 2nd according to the charts. It's likely they would have to add a pick from next year to move up which is a big :nono:

This backlog is just stupid, they know there's only 7 minutes between picks.

They're not running a tight ship, are they?

Still no RBs taken this entire draft, 48 picks in. Wow. Imagine that 15 years ago.

I'm not a fan of racking up late round picks. We've seen New England year after year after year trade down and keep their picks and never trade up and bank um but when you look at that NE team, there isn't a lot of STAR power. In fact without Brady I think they'd be in a world of hurt.

I don't think Seattle hits any more than most, but very recently they basically made one late round pick in Sherman that completely blew up. If they hit that often though they wouldn't have to sign Sidney Rice from us or Trade us for Percy Harvin. Which btw, Free Agency is where they've made a lot of their headway.

I think Spielmans tactic of strategically trying to trade up when you can for someone who slips and trade back when it won't stop us from getting our guy has been working a lot more. Our team is suddenly going to be LOADED with big talent guys. Floyd, Rhodes, Smith, Barr, Griffen on defense. Peterson, Patterson, Kalil, Bridgewater, Rudolph, and Wright on offense. Now that we have some real coaches that's going to pay dividends in the next year or two.

So what's the deal with Louis Nix? There were many here who wanted us to take him at 10-14 (after trading down), before we signed Linval - he's hanging on the board still. Bears just took Ego Ferguson over him. Did he have an injury issue come up or?

Im not sure if an injury issue came up but he was injured most of last season and im not sure how he did on his pro day or the combine.

Baptitse or Moses as BPA for the Vikings based on their needs. Would be very happy if they can get one of those guys.
