Watch the tapes, throwing motion, run option, inaccuracy, inconsistency, arm strength. Maybe OK in college ball but will struggle in the NFL, mark my words.

Your first post is meant to start arguments on the board. Two of your first three posts are negative with no substace whatsoever. How am I not to believe you are a troll?

And your username is a little suspicious too. If it was my board, you'd be gone after post #3.

I can't even begin to understand your logic here at all? These two quarterbacks are NOTHING alike. Tavaris was more of a run option quarterback, Bridgewater is a Pocket Passer. Have you even watched ANY game tape? Go back watch Tjack's highlights, then go and watch Teddy's highlights, then come back here and tell us they are similar.

Seriously Throwing motion? Teddy has the best mechanics in the Draft period. The knock against him was never his mechanics, it was his slight frame and his bad pro day.

OK, I can see where this is going, but, again, mark my words, Teddy is not the franchise QB, we would be better of with Carr. I hate to agree with Mayock, but he has a point. So after a few posts that are "negative" some of you would ban me? Maybe I'll just leave on my own. Jerks.

Accuracy (college):

Bridgewater (68.4%) > Jackson (53.8%)

Arm strength

Jackson > Bridgewater (Jackson has a legit cannon)

Run option

I don't even know what this means. If you mean poise (staying in the pocket and not running at the first sign of pressure), there's no comparison.

Bridgewater > Jackson

If you mean running ability

Jackson > Bridgewater

Inconsistency

WTF? Bridgewater was one of the most consistent QBs in college football.

Bridgewater > Jackson

Seriously. I never understand why someone would join a board just to be a buzzkill. It's one thing when someone who has been here forever has negativity over a draft pick and makes it known, but when someone comes in with that username and pisses over the only thing they post about, it makes you wonder what the intentions really are.

Ten years in I had to get something right.... now ignore my post in the User Mock draft thread where I said they'd take Manziel at 8 and we're good.
Nice call!

FWIW, I wasn't real clear in my post but I was actually referring to last year when Bridgewater was the consensus #1 pick. I don't think at that time anyone thought he would be a Viking and certainly not at the 32nd spot.

Evidently you don't know how things are done around here. Well, the first thing is these types of posts are not allowed. Ever. When they're done by people new to the board, I'm not going to even bother with warnings. Come back in a month with a better attitude and I'll let you contribute, until then, you're back to just reading.

Freakin love that guy, so humble, and to think hes goin to my favorite team, its like a dream...after we picked Barr i was convinced we let him go, i would hold my breath after every pick, thinkin oh no, it was getting nerve rackin... then Seattle pops in.. knowin they owe us a bone after Vikings 2.0 won the SB for em. haha... Gave us the pick... i SWEAR to god, i was on my knees with tears in my eyes, praying to let it be him...

you guys have no idea the kind of heart this kid has, and if you watched Gruden's Camp on ESPN, it will blow your mind how smart he really is with x's and o's. hes on some...other level, im having trouble comparing it too... you guy seen what he did to Florida in the Sugar Bowl and Rutgers with a Broken Wrist... and Miami this year. I've got tears in my eyes thinking about that 1st spring practice, his freshman year, i sat with my wife and said, i could only dream that he would be a Viking.. Dreams do come true guys, they really do, we found our FRANCHISE. And all he wants to do is win.

Reusse is not a fan.

Teddy for Heisman sounded good, until I watched

Been mostly lurking as I don't profess to have great knowledge about the collegiate players coming into the league, but I know Reusse seems to be wrong more often than he's right, so I kind of consider this a positive 'endorsement.'
