What part didn't you understand? We made a great trade AND GOT RID OF HIM. Why so much hate yet when he almost missed a whole season FOR ANOTHER TEAM? Because he showed he's still one of most explosive players ever to touch a football? Hes got baggage, get over it, he also has a ring now hes on a properly coached team.

Harvin's TD return may or may not have broken the Bronco's. But his other contributions to the game, 2 rushes for 45 yards and 1 catch for 5 yards. Not bad for a guy that made $6 million.

What part didn't YOU understand?...I never said anything that you even referred to in any way in my post? And I agree with everything you said....

He was also a injury prone baby who was banged up all the time and forced a trade.

Get over it...

F*** Percy Harvin
F*** T-Jack
F*** Sidney Rice
F*** The entire Seahawks team
F*** their "12th man"
F*** the entire city of Seattle

So what if they won a super bowl. Those pansies are just lucky to be on a team where they did little to nothing to get where they are. Especially, Percy Harvin, the most undeserving, whiny, ungrateful piece of #### NFL player in the NFL. Well I guess he's happy now, he got his ring, despite being absent majority of the season.

It kills me that we still don't have a ring, yet our former players seem to find ways to win super bowls on other teams.

Harvin goes from non-factor for most of the season to x-factor in the biggest game of the year. Timing is everything.

X-Factor? How about non-factor.

I can already see the replies to that in my mind’s eye; “But Cliff, any player that scores a touch down is a factor in the game!”

In a game that is 43-8 though? It was an unnecessary score.

Just like they didn’t need him in the regular season. Just like they didn’t need him in the playoffs. They didn’t need him in the super bowl.

+1 The Seahawks have several "difference makers" and as you said Havin made/makes little or no difference in their season. That does not discount the fact, to me, that he is a dynamic player. My point has been that Flash more than fills the void left by him when he whined his way out of town. Good luck and good riddance.

I agree and for the Winfield apologists, you can better see why at his age and diminished skills he could not "make" this team.

Harvin returned the second-half kick-off for a TD, which essentially squashed any remaining hopes the Broncos may have entertained about a comeback. He also set another score early on with a nice run. That makes him a factor, even if you don't like it. He's also a world champion, something he likely would have never achieved here.

Sour grapes much?

That game was over when the first hike went past Peyton into the end zone for a safety. The broncos looked like the Vikings in all their superbowls. Like a team that didn't show up

Something smells a little trollish, especially with the name. I wonder how Harvin's teamates truly feel watching Harvin make millions upon millions of dollars while injured and riding the pine for the entire season sans a few plays and then cashes in with showing up for the Super Bowl and making a few good plays and gets a ring
I am not sure that Golden Tate would not have returned a kick for a TD either. He is pretty proficient as a returner and a receiver.
Anyway Harvin seems overjoyed and I am overjoyed to have gotten Flash to take his place :!:

He was a factor insomuch as he played in the game but he wasn't needed. Had he not played in the game .... same result, slightly lower score.

Congrats to Percy, he got to go play for a super bowl playing team ... they're big on the 12th man up there, I'm sure he'll continue to "thrive". Hopefully they can make it to the super bowl every year so he can get in a full game ;)

CalVike wrote::point Harvin could flat out play and he was not consistently injured until his last season with the Vikes. He apparently was willing to say in front of team and management that Ponder could not play before the higher ups. Bottom line, he's a difference maker. A coach like Bud Grant would have taken it as his job to get the most out of him. Funny, Pete Carroll and the Seahawks along with Percy Harvin have Super Bowl glory. The Vikings have nothing. There just might be a correlation. LOL.
There's no correlation. Considering the way their team played as whole, and especially on defense, Seattle would have won yesterday's game with or without Harvin and we already know that he had nothing to do with getting them to the game.

As for getting the most out of Harvin... the Vikings certainly got more out of him than Seattle has so far.

Percy was just one of many Seattle players that played well. He wasn't the difference maker nor was he the star player. Kearse and Tate played better games and had more of an impact in the overall game than Harvin did. Harvin had nothing to do with them getting to the Superbowl.

If he were still a Viking he would have nothing to do with us getting to a Superbowl. While there is no doubt that Harvin is a good player but he certainly hasn't proved himself to be any better than Patterson in my opinion and Patterson has been more classy than Harvin ever was.

Yes Harvin has a ring but if your looking at it from a standpoint That Harvin deserved and earned the ring I would say he didn't. Now if he would have played the whole season and played well I would have said he did deserve it.
