It's rather apparent that you two will not be seeing eye to eye on any issue. The constant back and forth is tiresome and unproductive. I suggest the foe option and/or using the report function for any posts against board rules.Pondering Her Percy wrote: Yeah I'm really hot and botheredYou should be questioning your own intelligence after that comment.
And have them on pedestals?? Your judgement of talent might be worse than Leslie Fraziers

Good points. I'm thinking it really comes down to Zimmer. If he provides the vision and makes it clear that's the direction the team will go, then that should establish who the chief of the tribe is. OTOH, Zimmer does need to delegate and not be an egomaniac about it the Chili was, or people will tune him out. I think these new coaches respect each other, so Zimmer should be able to make things work.Eli wrote:It's great that Zimmer and the Vikings are attracting highly qualified coaching candidates who were either former coordinators or considered potential coordinators, but you have to wonder at what point you have too many chiefs and not enough indians. You also have to wonder how much coaching stability will come as a result, as they all become potential candidates for coordinator or head coaching jobs elsewhere at the end of the season.
I'm not saying this is necessarily bad, just wondering. Imagine a coaching staff made up of all former head coaches and coordinators. You might think that would be a dream team of coaches, but I think it could potentially be a nightmare and don't think they'd necessarily be the best position coaches you could find.
You can't have too many playmakers on a team. Maybe you can't have too many good coaches, too. I sure hope that's the case here.

Until Peterson improves in his blocking and catching then I see no improvement coaching wise. He was already a good RB coming out of college. As for game time decisions, that's when Peterson fumbles. Just like during the Chicago game in 2009 and the NFC championship game.Eli wrote: Have Peterson's former running backs coaches all been bums? Seems like folks are putting an inordinate amount of faith in new coaches turning a bunch of ugly duckling players into swans. It seldom works like that. IMO, the real changes come at the top, with leadership, philosophy, attitude and game-time decisions making up the biggest differences that a change of coaching staff will make.
