Too many awful games called by Musgrave this year. He may still make some good calls, as he IS an NFL OC, but he is not good at his job.CalVike wrote:Here's a case in point why Musgrave stinks less than many on this Board believe. Run-Run 3rd and 3. What's wrong with that?

If you're the bengals why even run, we have three healthy corners and none are up to the caliber of these receivers.

They could have a field day just throwing at Cook all day.S197 wrote:If you're the bengals why even run, we have three healthy corners and none are up to the caliber of these receivers.

I don't think Musgrave is as bad as people think. I think he tried to work with Ponder's strengths, but those aren't good enough for the NFL level. But really, it just boils down to failed execution. Basically, Ponder made Musgrave look worse than he really is--by his limitations AND failure to execute. I don't hate our offense when Cassel is playing. You guys do? It sure could be better, but it's improved since Ponder is out. #babysteps

Victim of his QB's limitations. He will return if Frazier does.yezzir wrote: Too many awful games called by Musgrave this year. He may still make some good calls, as he IS an NFL OC, but he is not good at his job.

My little brother mentioned this last night.S197 wrote:“@murphPPress: Cordarrelle Patterson's 92 yards in kick returns today leaves him 54 shy of matching Buster Rhymes' 1985 Vikings record”

Make that two healthy corners.... Wasn't Raymond a cb in college? He might be one again.

I would kill to have my name be Buster Rhymes.MelanieMFunk wrote: My little brother mentioned this last night.

Yep, that was fortunate as he wasn't close to making a play.Jeffbleedspurple wrote:man Cook got lucky

Jim Souhan @SouhanStrib
Dalton is going after Cook on every play. Now Cook comes up limping.

lol just saw that replay of the last deep pass and Cook just falls over on his own. That could have / probably would have been a TD if it was Green or another good receiver instead of sinu.

George "Buster" Rhymes is a retired professional American football wide receiver. Rhymes grew up in Liberty City, an inner city neighborhood of Miami. He graduated from Miami Northwestern High School.

Maybe the vikings should go have him get his eyes checked. He wasn't even close to getting the ball.mondry wrote:lol just saw that replay of the last deep pass and Cook just falls over on his own. Peterson needs to get relevant, this defense isn't going to be able to stop the bengals much longer.

Hard to defend a pass when you are falling down.Crax wrote: Maybe the vikings should go have him get his eyes checked. He wasn't even close to getting the ball.
