Re: Stadium build thread
Are they going to expand TCF Stadium? If so, how?

By either installing bleacher seats in the open end or making a couple thousand people stand. (Brrrrrr!) I have a feeling that there are going to be a _lot_ of tickets available to games for the next two years.PurpleMustReign wrote:Are they going to expand TCF Stadium? If so, how?
http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2013/06/0 ... k-stadium/The Vikings need to find space for 52,000 Metrodome season ticket holders in a TCF Stadium that only fits 50,000.
One solution is to have 5,000 bleacher seats on the open west end, or make it standing room only.
“We’re going to have roughly equivalent seating to our season ticket owner base,” Bagley said. “So everybody who is a season ticket owner will have a chance to buy into our two seasons [at TCF Bank Stadium].”

Huh, I thought they would add more than that. SRO is a dumb idea... Adding 5,000 bleacher seats is better, IMO...Eli wrote: By either installing bleacher seats in the open end or making a couple thousand people stand. (Brrrrrr!) Its going to be a rude awakening for the Vikings the next 2 years. I guess Jennings would know what its like. But MN is always colder then GB is. Its -1 here right now with an ugly wind.

Manziel would be running his skinny legs off to keep them warm coming from Texas. God I hope not
