Some dude named Chase Ford. Replaced Kyle. And that was an awesome first play. I hope someone gives him credit. AD owes him a snowmobile.BGM wrote: Yeah... The Vikings have a combined 6 passing TD's all season

AD didn't even pat him on the back.... Ford not only held him up, but push him in. But its all about AD.
Re: Vikings @ Cowboys Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 9
I guess it never occurred to him to tackle the guy carrying the ball carrier. Peterson probably thought that the guy who was on his back and had him wrapped up was a defender.Jeffbleedspurple wrote:What's that Cowgirl doing? waiting for some change to fall out of AP's pocket

Upon further review, Chase Ford did maintain possession of AD when he broke the plain. He should have picked AD up and spiked him. And since it was his first AD TD he got to keep him.

Re: Vikings @ Cowboys Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 9
I find it kind of funny everybody is praising Chase Ford for his 'heads up' play on AD's td. Evidently people are not aware is that it really should have been a penalty for aiding the runner. If that wasn't aiding the runner, then I don't know what would be and they should throw the rule out because they obviously don't ever call it. If it would have been called (like it should have) then I'm sure everyone here would have been cursing Ford instead of praising him.
The other thing I find annoying is all the whining about the officiating. Seems like every game a lot of people here are complaining that the refs are out to get us and the other team gets all the calls. I think we got more than our share of calls (and non calls) go our way today. I guess some people just need to complain about something, but complaining about the refs all the time to me is annoying.

What's this? You don't like foolishness or whining? Don't come on here on Sundays then, and most certainly ignore the game threads.Purple Reign wrote:I find it kind of funny everybody is praising Chase Ford for his 'heads up' play on AD's td. People do go overboard, but football is emotional. The refs make it easy to hate on them.
