Blame Fusco. They had 3rd and 2 that went to 2nd and 18 on the hold.soflavike wrote:Ponder, you are a useless tackling dummy.

The 3 and outs aernt helping either, with your boy in there leading the way this time.Mothman wrote:... and there it is. GB tops 30 at the 6:50 mark in the 3rd quarter... after holding the ball for the whole quarter up to that point.
This defense isn't even giving the offense a chance.
Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 8
Yeah, cassel got jobbed with this whole mess IMO. He's the only one of the 3 who's resembled an NFL QB for us. Should have started last week and would have given us a shot to win.Hunter Morrow wrote:Why the infatuation with him? I still stand by Cassel being our best chance. Its the defenses fault. We just haven't had time to get Ponder in his sweet spot.Just Me wrote:Three and out (again)

You can when you have Dline that doesn't run themselves out of plays repeatedly. And interior dline that doesn't get stood up regularly. And all of our corners and safeties are special team level talent. Greenway is done. Mitchel is a bum. Erin is above average at best, more likely just average...S197 wrote: They're clearly getting outplayed but it's more than that. The announcers have said it multiple times, you can't rush four and sit in a shell and expect magic.

Frasier, if you don't put cassel in now You are stupid. If you actually think Ponder gives you the best chance to win, there is nobody who can help you

Well I guess benching Ponder didn't light a fire under him. Same old sub par play.
Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 8
Yeah here comes another 9 min drive to a td, they should just let them run it and and give ap the ball the rest of the game over and over it may be 97-17 but ap will get some stats

Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 8
I'm watching this and it looks like they're abusing our scheme pretty hard. Push our ends up the field, let rodgers run it if nothings down the field. 3rd and 3? Run the same 3 yard come back cause we'll NEVER jump that route in this "sit back and tackle" scheme. Rodgers is playing this scheme like a fiddle. The players are in the right spots, they're doing their jobs pretty well from what I can tell. This defense relies on the other team making mistakes and they just aren't.Mothman wrote:
Are you watching this? It's NOT the scheme. These guys are getting outplayed.

My guess is he must have questioned the play calling and that was the end of his career in Minnesota .Hunter Morrow wrote:Why the infatuation with him? I still stand by Cassel being our best chance. He's gotten our only win and had the
