There was no way that Ponder would've started, cracked rib, And they intentionally deactivated Cassel, so this was Freeman all or nothing.

The best RB in franchise history is wasting away with these joker 3rd string QBs and moron coaches.
Peterson has been eminently ineffective all season. He's just another RB so far. I haven't seen any of the explosiveness, the cuts, the field vision of last year.

Freeman might be kicking himself for turning down that 2 year contract too

We had the right game plan, we just gotta execute better. Starting Freeman was the right call. We know he only had
3 days to learn our offense but he'd told us he'd watched half of a Wisconsin Badgers game so we thought he'd be ready.
Like I said, we just got a get a bit more crisp, clean things up. Yes, we'll cover the spread next week. The Metrodome has
a well stocked green room and catered press area. Oh, you meant the OTHER spread? I don't want to sound pessimistic, but
don't bet the farm, sir.

This is what a run-first offense with a poor running game and no QB looks like... Easily the worst team I've ever seen.

Maybe Karma is coming his way for being a classy guy. Just a thought. Flame suit on.

This isn't Freeman's fault.

This is one of the low points in Viking history. I think Frazier sacrificed this game just to see Freeman. He should have never been started after 13 frickin days. He should have been pulled early 3rd quarter. If frazier starts Freeman for the next two games, I think he completely loses this team. It's sad when all of us fans know this staff will be fired. It's just too bad we have to wait until the end of the season for the obvious to happen.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.
