I'm not watching the game rather relying on your posts.
I remember when Ponder was drafted (a reach) the management at the time said he had the smarts to learn quickly

Why aren't we using Cordarrelle Patterson?
Re: Vikings @ Lions Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 1
The first half may have been unpredictable, but I doubt the second will go that way. The Lions will sort their #### out and win this one easily.
I just feel so sorry for Peterson. He deserves so much better than the Vikings.

I wasn't even referring to Frazier, I was mostly aiming at someone, ANYONE from the offensive coaching staff.
But the public is going to have to start coming down on this staff. This is week one and we all can see the obvious.
How the ownership can let this staff draft next year without drafting a first round QB........and I'm done watching them for a whole season. Heck, I'm not even watching the 2nd half.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

Robinson got owned by Burleson, then Greenway gets owned by Bush. Man.

Because Ponder doesn't know how to look to his 2nd read, let alone his 3rd.admvp wrote:Why aren't we using Cordarrelle Patterson?

Lions are showing how a solid downfield passing game creates more opportunities in the run game.

Jim Souhan @SouhanStrib 2m
Musgrave may have to roll out Ponder in every passing situation. He throws better on run and has easier decisions.

Scariest thing about that Ponder sack is he had Rudolph open in one flat, Peterson in other. He's not recognizing anything.

The Lions did everything wrong and are within 1 and Ponder performed like he wants to be fired. Bad omens for Minnesota.

I stand corrected...liquid_mojo wrote:
He's certainly injured, he was hopping on one leg trying to block on the next play. I'm thinking we'll be seeing Joique Bell in the 2nd half.

If he isn't Ponder's first read, he isn't getting the ball.yezzir wrote:Have we targeted Jennings more than once? I'm not buying the "can't get open" thing anymore.
