Re: Training Camp
Frazier said both Xavier Rhodes and Chris Summers will sit out today's practice with hamstring issues. Erin (groin) will practice
Rookie G Jeff Baca lining up as second team left guard. Fellow rookie Travis Bond in third team behind Seth Olsen.

That's a good sign. They may want him to push Charlie Johnson, and maybe even hope that he takes the starting job.Rookie G Jeff Baca lining up as second team left guard.

Ugh, I don't like reading about hamstring issues. Sometimes they linger. Hopefully, the issues keeping Rhodes and Summers out of practice are mild.dead_poet wrote:

Erin Henderson - LB - Vikings
Coach Leslie Frazier praised Erin Henderson's practice play at middle linebacker on Friday, and now says a position switch to the outside is "unlikely."
Frazier said Henderson is "thriving" at Mike 'backer, and "maturing as a defensive leader" while Desmond Bishop has "worked well" at outside linebacker. In all likelihood, Henderson will open the season inside, bookended by SLB Chad Greenway and WLB Bishop. It does remain to be seen whether Henderson will stay on the field for nickel downs, but that's probably a good bet.

If Frazier thinks Henderson is thriving at his new position, that's great news.dead_poet wrote:Erin Henderson - LB - Vikings

It will be interesting read more about the two-minute drill practices later today. Hopefully, they'll go well.

I couldn't stomach more than a minute, the guy needs to retire already. it sounds like he's drunk if you had your eyes closed.

Getting injured it looks like. In addition to Rhodes, looks like Raymond is out and now something is up with Bishop.Mothman wrote:Good morning, fellow Vikings fans! So, what is the team doing completely wrong today?

That's a drag! I hope none of the injuries are serious.S197 wrote: Getting injured it looks like. In addition to Rhodes, looks like Raymond is out and now something is up with Bishop.

@Andrew_Krammer: Ponder was 6 for 6 in 7 on 7 drills. Just missed his first throw in 8 tries as he overthrew Simpson on a go route

Re: Training Camp
Looks like a hamstring for Raymond too. Bishop told reporters he was fine while walking off so hopefully they're not out long.Mothman wrote: That's a drag! I hope none of the injuries are serious.
