Welcome to the Pro Football Focus Page of Fame for fullbacks, where only the best overall regular season performances during our time grading (2008 to Present) are mentioned.
If this is your first visit to a “PFF PoF” then the rules are pretty simple. The highest grades from the regular season make the list, and at the end of every year we update.
No more than 20 will ever make the list and it looks at a player’s cumulative grade.
Ellison had just 251 snaps to impress in 2012, and boy did he. While Jerome Felton got the lion’s share of the attention, the Vikings averaged a healthy 6.5 yards per attempt when Ellison was lined up in a fullback spot.

Rhett seems to be a forgotten guy, but he had a pretty stellar rookie year. I'll be curious to see how he's used this season, especially after Felton's new contract.

I will too, especially because I also liked the way he performed in his extremely limited action as a receiving target. He's an under-the-radar player who made a nice contribution last year. If Carlson struggles again, I won't be surprised if Ellison starts seeing more playing time.
