What is this I hear about Greg Jennings not participating much in the OTAs today because of an ankle injury? I mean yeah this may not sound like a big deal now but during the season it could be. Lingering injuries can limit performance, kinda like what Jennings went through last season. I hope he can stay healthy this season.

Just means that Robinson is ahead of Rhodes on the depth chart at the moment. Which isn't at all surprising.

I agree. You have to figure that Robinson has more experience with the team and knows the D system better at this point.

My biggest concern regarding Jennings is his injury history during the last couple years. I certainly hope he can get healthy and stay that way for the upcoming season because he's essentially supposed to be the go-to WR of the group.

Rolled his ankle a little. Not a cause for concern.

Yeah the coaching staff makes them work their way up the depth chart. It was the same with Harrison Smith last year.

And it's the offseason! He hasn't even been touched most likely. And he's already nursing an injury? After his recent history?

Don't freak out people, it's just a sore ankle.

Also, wide receiver Greg Jennings didn't practice Wednesday because of a sore ankle. Coach Leslie Frazier said the injury isn't serious.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

This is interesting...
Frazier said the Vikings are looking at rookie first-round draft pick WR Cordarrelle Patterson mostly as a kick returner, not a punt returner. Those catching punts on Wednesday included incumbent Marcus Sherels, Josh Robinson, Greg McCoy and rookies Jerodis Williams and Bradley Randle.
I'm wondering if Josh Robinson might sneak past Sherels as a punt returner. Not that Sherels is awful at returning but Robinson was pretty good at it for UCF and he can flat out fly.

If it comes down to keeping the guy that can best play double duty, then Robinson probably wins that too. He has a lot to learn but he's a better CB than Sherels.

Yeah that's true but I don't know if it's just me or not but I'd rather NOT have a starter in the secondary returning punts. If any of those guys get injured the next guy coming in is a huge drop off so I'd rather not even risk it. With that said I don't know who would be a better option from the offensive side.

If Jennings gets a sore ankle from just one and half day worth of practice with pads. Imagine what it will be like for him during full padded practice, or better yet a game. Im just saying, I hope im wrong but Jennings might be injury prone. He's about to turn 30 which means he entering those dog years into his career.
