It could've been Manti Te'o!!!!!!!!!!! :wallbang: :steamed: haha Oh well.

I would also like us to sign Brian Urlacher. Only for a year so next year we can draft a true MLB.

Not much point in Urlacher I don't think, I'd really like to see Cole and the two new guys battle it out in camp and the best man wins the job.

I agree 100%....He may have slowed down a little but he has tons of great experience, many pro bowls under his belt and he claims he hasn't felt this good in a long while.

We need a QB at the MLB position and he would fit that bill great along with providing great leadership and class. Would also be a great teacher to the younger guys like Cole, etc.

Sign him up!!!!!! NOW.

I think Erin can at least do as good as Jasper ever did. Give him the job now.

Why would we get an old, injury prone LB like Urlacher when we dump our own players once they are over the hill? I dont want to see a Bear on our team, I doubt he would even play in more then 1/4 of the games.

I voted for Audie Cole. I'm still high on the class of 2012.

Henderson or Cole? Who knows for sure until they get to camp and try it out. Honestly I don't think it will be any worse than last season and I'm ok that they didn't draft a guy they weren't really in love with this year. With this defense I think MLB has to be a bona-fide stud....one of the best players on the unit, and it's unfortunate how lacking it has been over the past few years, aside from a couple good years from EJ.

If they go committee at MLB this season and struggle a little, but wind up with a much better pick at it next season it will be worth the wait IMO.

I think Urlacher is toast but I really don't know. If they brought him to camp it sure wouldn't hurt.

Joe Webb at MLB. You hit the nail on the head. He has the speed, the knowledge of the game from the other side of the LOS. It would be a master stroke for the Vikings brain trust!

A QB of the defense is the leader of the defense. A phrase often used by coaches and analysts.

I think Erin can at least do as good as Jasper ever did.
That's why after being given a shot at the nickel spot he lost it to Jasper just this season?
Why would we get an old, injury prone LB like Urlacher when we dump our own players once they are over the hill?
We dump our own players once their contracts aren't worth their abilities. If Winfield was making veteran minimum, he wouldn't have been dumped, even being over the hill.

I picked Cole because that's what I expect, at least early on. Hopefully one of the rookies shows enough that they can take over. At least coverage skills are a positive for both of them, with Hodges being a converted safety. Personally I'd rather give Urlacher a year or two so we at least have someone that knows what they're doing. And gives us a chance to sort out the other handful of guys, or if necessary buys us a year or two to find someone who can do the job if they show that they can't.
