No offense, but says the guy who has never played a snap of professional football in his life?

He know more about it than 99 percent of the population. In any other field that would make you one of the few masters of the topic.

He had a pretty good rookie season, even graded out as a better blocker then Felton...

It seems to me that all of us have lost our patience.
'cause everyone thinks they're right,
And nobody thinks that there just might
Be more than one road to our final destination--

Geez the guy has been in the league one whole year. I would give him the opprotunity to become successful. He certainly sees enough successful people on his own team (AD, Allen, Kalil, Sullivan, Rudolph etc.) where he would be able to write a Master's Thesis about how to become successful I would think. Every thing that I have heard or read about him is that is is a hard worker, smart, and is an over achiever.

Tight end Rhett Ellison played just 23.7 percent of Minnesota’s offensive snaps (including the playoffs) as a rookie last season, but he played a variety of different spots and drew praise for his play on special teams. Pro Football Focus.com rated him as the league’s second-best blocking fullback, based on his time lined up in the backfield, but he also saw time as an in-line tight end and as an h-back. For some added perspective, Felton played 37.7 percent of the Vikings’ offensive snaps and was rated the fourth-best blocking fullback in the league by Pro Football Focus.
I really like him and I am glad that he is on the Vike's team.
Do not mistake KINDNESS for WEAKNESS!

Do you even know what a master's thesis is? It's an investigation using collected evidence to prove a proposition. It's not a "using your past knowledge to write a paper". It's gathering information and discovering an answer to a problem.

Some here would whine if they got hung with a knew rope.

According to your post count you're an 11 time poster :)

But yeah ... like you said the point of a Master's Thesis is to gain knowledge, not to show what you already know. In other words, he is seeking to learn how to become successful in the NFL not saying he already knows how.

I'm pretty sure I'd whine no matter what kind of rope I was hung with... (or did I totally miss the metaphor/joke)
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!
