All I know is that this team better not draft Sylvester Williams. Dude has bust written all over him.

I'll just put this here too:

Keenan Allen ran a 4.71 and 4.75 at his pro day today....

We've been discussing it here:

http://www.vikingsmessageboard.com/view ... &start=210

There's much more detail about the workout here:

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/4/9/42 ... me-workout
Times on the 40-yard dash varied. My hand-timing was far faster than the crowd, but I was jockeying for a position and didn't get a great look at his start. The consensus seems to be he ran between the mid-4.6s and early 4.7s, but the trainers were quick to mention before the workout that while Keenan Allen's knee is at 100%, the surrounding muscle groups are at about 75% right now -- which could have greatly impacted his time. One scout offered an interesting perspective: "He looks like he's got some hitch in his giddy-up", which I really hope appears in an official scouting report.

Up to this point the workout was clinical, and expected. It was the route running where you really got a sense of team's motivations and interests. The Colts wanted to see his change of direction, while the Bengals were most intrigued at seeing an 'Omaha return' route -- a six-yard pattern that saw Allen run to the sideline, loop back inside, and catch on the run. It was met with a simple phrase from Cincinnati: "He did an awesome job".

WR then CB first round. Weakest positions by far. Give audie cole a shot!

Plenty of good safeties in the draft to get later

Premium pass rushers are always in demand, especially playing in a conference with Rodgers, Cutler and Stafford. If some of the Mock Drafts are true about Bjoern Werner dropping all the way down to us. I say take him without a 2nd thought.

The CB and WR are incredibly deep this year. Especially CB where there were about 14 guys that ran in the 4.3 & 4.4 range at the combine this year. That is astounding.

Anyway, I think this years Draft will be really fun to watch. I might even dust off the cobweb from my wallet and fork out the $10 to be at draft party at the Metrodome.

I am hoping for a top DT to replace Willams eventually ..

We also need a MLB I wouldn't mind signing Urlacher to bring up a draft pick or one of
our younger guys..

Wide out is also a need we should draft these in the first two or three rounds this year
no one expects the Spanish Inquisition!
