Is the norseman on the jerseys? That alone would be reason to clear out the old jerseys.

Apparently you can unlock teasers some how via absurd online activites. My work computer won't load it but somebody get on it and let's see these meaningless easter eggs!

Well, if Jared likes it it's GOT to be cool. Or at least not suck.
Jared Allen's reaction to the new #Vikings helmet is great. http://www.vikings.com/uniforminsider #vikingsuniform

I've unlocked two and so far, meaningless describes them well. The first talks about the history of the scandinavian vikings, the inspiration they provided when the team was formed and includes some accompanying pictures. The second shows a pic of Chad Greenway along with the following quote:

"I was excited when I saw it for the first time. I was really pumped. It's a simple uniform for us which to me makes it look better. You let the purple stand out which is what the Vikings stand for. The new pant and uniform design are going to be a hit."

I'm hoping that's an indication that they're moving back toward the style of uniform they've traditionally worn and away from the one they've been wearing in recent years.

This is great news! I've hated the new jerseys since they came out and refused to buy anything other than a throwback. This leaked chatter sounds like they're headed in the right direction.

I would have to agree with the sentiment of many on this board. Keep it simple is the best way to go. The team with the "modern disease" the most is Atlanta. I love their throwbacks, and have spoken with fans on boards that agree. Keeping it simple is bad a$$, modern is noisy plastic.

This right here makes me confident that Nike got it right. I'm excited to see what they look like, but maybe even more excited to buy me my first Vikings jersey since the early Moss days.

What makes you think that?
