I wouldn't mind it if they went back to the previous version before the re-worked the horn but no, I wouldn't want to see the Vikings emblem on the helmet. I like the horns!
I like the horns as well, but a family discussion two weeks ago lead to the conclusion that the Redskins helmet logo was the best in the NFL. The first Viking logo is just as intricate and would surely compete for coolest. Again, I do love the horns.

The only similarity is that their helmets are both navy blue. The Texans have a much more traditional looking uni, with a simple stripe on the pants and solid colored jerseys. The Broncos have a stripe down the center of the helmets, the dumb looking side panels on the jerseys and oddball curved swooshie stripe thing on their pants (like the current Vikings uniforms.) Also, one team is blue and red, one is orange and blue and the fonts used in the numbers are different.
It may look corny but I'd still take the old Broncos helmet and the one I remember Elway wearing even though Elway wore the modern version too.
Elway won both of his Super Bowl rings wearing the new uniforms. The only change that I'm aware of since then has been going back to orange instead of navy for the home jerseys.
No way, gotta stick with the horns. Did the original vikings wear pictures of themselves on their warrior helmets? No, they had horns. Although there have been some rumors floating around recently that suggested maybe they didn't actually wear horns on their helmets, but screw that, I love the horns and I'm glad we're not one of those teams with a logo or a stripe down the middle like those awful cheese helmets to the east.
If they change anything it should be the uniforms, they currently look too feminine. I also think they should go with a darker shade of purple. Again the current shade looks a bit too soft and almost has a pinkish look in certain lighting. And I'd change the yellow to an actual shade of gold. Then throw in an alternate gold jersey for special occasions.

Those logos are interesting, but not eye-catching to me. I'm not the biggest fan of letters, numbers or words on helmets. The mustache viking is the only alternative to the horn that I'd opt for on the Viking helmets, but again, I do love the horn. The yellow base strip is interesting. I wonder why that was put on in the first place?

Do you mean the strip of yellow at the base of the horn? It's intended to indicate where the horn "attaches" to the helmet and it's also a sneaky way to get the secondary team color onto the helmet.
