He hasn't been that terrible, considering what he has to work with. It seemed like Ponder was improving there towards the end of the season. I doubt he's spent a huge amount of time on Joe Webb. Ponder was considered a somewhat safe project coming out of college...but project generally means that they'll go through some serious bumps if you start them too soon. Webb isn't a NFL quarterback and he never was, and THAT is something I'd blame squarely on the Vikings coaching staff. Joe Webb is a WR/emergency quarterback.

I'm sure they could do better at QB Coach, though.

...and I returned home at half time because I couldn't deal with the mob of idiotic Packer fans (and these aren't even Wisconsinites...these are West Coast Packer Fans that couldn't even name the GB backup RB in a pop quiz) behind me down at the bar.

Not enough Viking fans in downtown Portland to feel miserable with.
