"We are resting him for next week" is more along the line of arrogance. I don't trust Webb anymore than Ponder and if he plays terribly then Frazier looks like an idiot.yezzir wrote: No. He won't. That's called confidence.

Dungy picking Vikes. Dungy likes Joe.

A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

If Webb comes out throws 21-28 for 250 and 3 TDs and wins I say yes, if he does enough to get by then no. If he plays terribly he isn't on the team next season.PurpleKoolaid wrote:So if Webb doesnt do good, we will wonder what could have happened if we had Ponder.....if we wi, is Webb the starter agaisnt Atlanta?

I don't think so. It didn't appear to be an arrogant statement. Just by the way he said it. He isn't an arrogant person in my humble judgment.FailedtoOpen wrote: "We are resting him for next week" is more along the line of arrogance. I forgot about the read option - we may have to run a bit of that.

I think if we win and Ponder is healthy by next weekend, Ponder will start, though the Webb craze will grow dramatically.
