Not trying to be a "copy cat" but the topic about which role player would you want back on the Vikes got me thinking.....
Without any doubt I would take Randy Moss in his prime. He even made Jeff George look good

Daunte Culpepper in his 2004 form. I always liked him and thought that he got screwed when Chilly kicked him out of town. I know his stats after leaving sucked but I think he could have done much better.

Wow. He was nothing without Moss. Nothing. Not even Scotty Pippen.

Sadly, even before his knee injury, he was playing poorly (if you would like look up his stats the last year that he played on the Vikes they are not very good to say the least).
He never did anything after joing the Raiders and Dolphins, he was never the same after the injury and he piled on a lot of weight. But you are right, there were those years playing with Moss and Carter where he tore it up and I would like to have That Dante back playing in his prime on the team.

Randy Moss. Throw the ball anywhere near him, and he'll be able to find it and grab it. One of the best WRs to ever play the game in terms of talent.

Considering the needs of the roster? I think you have to go Moss.
Having a Moss in his prime and Peterson in his prime wouldn't be fair. The Texans probably have the closest thing to that pairing in the NFL right now.
John Randle would be a fun guy to add to the D-line too ... but the Vikings are pretty set on the Dline compared to other positions.

I know the stats. Thats why I said the 04 season. You're right though a lot of what Duante did was because of what Moss brought to the table. I still think he was great at making plays when nothing was there. And I think with Percy and AD he would do a great job (if he was playing like he did in 04).
