Effin' crazy stuff for a team that was in playoff contention a couple of games ago.
What is part of the definition of insanity? Keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result?

What really chaps my rear end is that fans pay money to see a competitive effort on the field, not to run some kind of remedial camp for noodle-armed, cowardly quarterbacks from Florida State.

The Vikes were in playoff contention when Ponder decided to do his swoon and started to stink up the joint... but there was no focus on the real prize... only on trying to let Ponder "walk it off" and regain his mojo.

We should get a refund if we're watching a school.

Hey remember the first post on this thread I made about Russell Wilson a month and a half ago? Well guess what he did against the Bears today. 23 for 37 for 293 yards with 2 td and 0 int for a 104.8 QB rating. That is all.

Vikings picked the worst qb of the draft class. Dalton, kaepernick, mallet much better.
Russell wilson is even further along. Ponder has regressed.

Because he can throw accurate passes past 10 yards. And can see over offensive linemen without a step ladder.

Yeah god forbid we have a Pocket QB. They never win anything just by stepping aside a little.

You watching to Giants? You see the seperation those receivers are getting? None. Yet Manning is tossing it right in there. Guess they all suck cause both teams are playing alot of single coverage.

either way ponder is officially not the long term answer anymore. i've said this before, i wouldn't mind seeing ponder continue to start and just lose out. one thing is for sure, he deserves to get booed and booed loudly this sunday. i haven't seen a starting qb play that bad in a long time. and it wasn't just bad, it was putrid. charlie batch looked better than ponder, and what is he, 38?

Are you kidding me?

They've been getting huge separation tonight. Victor Cruz had Madieu Williams beat (surprise, surprise) by 3 yards but Eli missed him. The one thing I've said repeatedly tonight? "Balls are the Giants WRs fast!"

That said, Eli is a precise thrower and he's so confident that he will throw it into spots that most guys wouldn't even dare try. Opposite of Ponder.

Manning has at least 3 balls thrown directly into coverage with the recievers making a play for the ball. My point is WRs aernt open all the time. But a good QB makes them look better. IF the ball wasnt throw, and the camera went over them, the announcers would say, yeah he had no where to throw it, they were covered.

Really, did you watch any Razorback football? Mallet stepped up and threw rockets. He even looks like a Manning. His wind up wasnt that bad on ESPNs sow, .3 seconds off of good ole Ponders.

That does not change the fact that he has not thrown a pass in the NFL yet and it is only speculation that he is better. Mallet may have been a better prospect based on his college career, but there is no valid data set for comparison... yet.

Semantics? Oh, yeah!

Nah he fell because of 'character issues'. The same ones that landed Moss and PH in our lap. I get you dont like Mallett. Ive just never heard of the QBs that stand in the pcket, rather then athletic happy feet Ponder types, as being worse. In fact I can name some that are in, or will be going in, the HoF.

Thats all we have right now though. Because as usual, the Vikings staff have no QB or future QB.....seems like its been this way my whole lifetime.
