Actions speak louder than words. I think he needs to let his own play do the talking. And from his play thus far this year I would say he needs to keep a sock in it.

seriously. yet another example of how FANS can say anything but if the actual PLAYERS dare to do the same they are idiots.

the real idiots are those that were suggesting that ponder's new girlfriend was the cause of his struggles. i think he pointed out how asinine that was very nicely.

love the comment. :smilevike:

Kind of an a-hole statement. Why say that? I kinda like the fire though. Hopefully he stays pissed.
I dont blame him. Even Yahoo new had it as one of their top stories a few days last week. Thats pretty low, and I dont like Ponder much. I did however see him in a slightly diferent light today.

I never said anything about his crap play due to his girlfriend. Others on here might have. Neverthess, he needs to stay away from getting into pissing contests with the fans and media. Like I said, let your play do the talking.

I guarantee the reporter goaded him into the tongue-in-cheek comment because the stupid take about his girlfriend has been all over talk radio. The whole talking point on it has so little merit to begin with that his joking response is a complete non-issue.

Jesus Christ people, grow the hell up. How can you possibly be upset at that comment? Give the guy a break, he played a good game.

Exactly, every one of my friends that I texted this comment with gave me a big LOL or the like back.

I agree completely. Personally, I loved Ponder's sarcasm about it.

Because one game does not a season make.

And because it shouldn't affect him. Why does he need to say anything? Immature and childish. The guy's a head case and this is just another example. I wonder if even Tony Romo ever decided to recognize the nonsense about Simpson with any sort of reply like this?

Can anyone see a true leader or elite quarterback giving some silly report the time of day? Much less showing that it was getting to him?

Stay classy Ponder.

Let's not blow an offhanded, lighthearted comment out of proportion. Players joke to reporters all the time. Heck, Kluwe made one such comment last week. Let it go.

ROFL myself. Ponder haters give it a rest. The offense played well today even the hated one. I feel far better today about the prospects for Ponder leading us into the future than I did last week. That's what a great win into a bye does for me. Ponder is a class act.
