We'll agree to disagree on that.Purplemania wrote: The DB already outran the play. A wide receiever needs to go and get the ball. Also, don't body catch or else the DB can stick his hands in there and do what he just did. Love PH....unlimited love. Just stating his limitation.

Is it just me or does Ponder's deep ball have the trajectory of a punt as compared to a pass? Seriously.

And you think me not giving him full credit for a play that was a great catch by the receiver is bad.dead_poet wrote: That was a poor throw. But it may have been miscommunication as well.

They're just not on the same page. Ponder is leading Harvin on those bubble screens, throwing it in front of him so that a.) it's a forward pass and b.) Harvin can catch it smoothly on the run. It's not a bad play by either player, just a lack of mutual understanding. They need to talk it out on the sidelines.
Re: Buccaneers @ Vikings Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 8
Pathetic effort all around on both sides of the ball tonite

Mayock said the same thing I wrote. They were both looking at each other like "what?" That's the only reason I bring it up.Demi wrote: And you think me not giving him full credit for a play that was a great catch by the receiver is bad.
