Wow, they can kick it out of the end zone too.
Re: Week 2: Vikings @ Colts Game Thread
Okay, what does our vaunted vertical passing offense have for 0:08 to get 50 yards?

And we'll hear about it for years. How many "3 point losses" we had.Spiderbeavis wrote:At least the scoreboard won't show a blowout...![]()

Losing it in the last seconds makes ya feel better?FailedtoOpen wrote:Feeling better about the game despite probably still losing.

Spiking the ball can only be used to stop the clock. Not on a nonrunning clock.

The refs told him it was a running clock when he asked them which was why he spiked it.me4get wrote:Spiking the ball can only be used to stop the clock. Not on a nonrunning clock.

Re: Week 2: Vikings @ Colts Game Thread
Here's my question - when are the Vikings going to ship this stupid run-focus and start throwing the entire game?
There is a place for the running game, but to be effective an offense must pass, and it must pass down the field. When the Vikings started doing that they moved it and put points on the board. To not do that more consistently and remain focused on feeding AD is beyond foolish.

Game over! It was fun while it lasted. Go Vikes!
Re: Week 2: Vikings @ Colts Game Thread
Ah well. Frankly the score was closer than it should have been. The Vikes played poorly today on both sides of the ball
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!

Crap!! So close. At least we are making some gains. I thought that we would get blew out the way we played in the 1st half. That 2nd half, we made a good run. So close. I think that we are going to be ok. Still seeing 4 or 5 wins though.

Seriously man, what was the point of those last 2 plays?
Vikings Game Plan:
"Nah Man, We Don't Even Want To Win. Really. We Don't."

Mind blowing ignorance for play calling.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.
