How do you feel about the job the Twins GM has done since getting the job?

I don't like it much at all.

He's is disgustingly cheap and stubborn. He finally made some decent moves, I liked the Pavano and Rauch pickups. I just wish he had gone after Washburn more. I know people (including myself) are down on Delmon Young, but he is hitting .275, and he seems to be improving, albeit slowly.
He is not at all agressive in making the team better. And until he gets better, the Twins will continue to fall short. And it is a shame to have Mauer, Morneau, and Kubel, and not be able to win more games.

^No offense, but that problem was already solved. The playoff game would be played Tuesday.

I think Cuddyer and Span have been great successes as of late.

Span has been amazing on the field and at the plate all season. He's like my second favorite player because he has a good attitude about the game and he seems like he really enjoys playing it too.

I don't put that on the GM at all. The ownership is disgustingly cheap and stubborn. There was some talk that's why the previous GM quit, knowing they'd lose Santana, Hunter, and not get anything in return. The Young trade clearly looks terrible with how well the other two have done.

Interesting article today, apparently Twins made a bit of an unexpected splash.

Twins to sign Sano for $3.15M bonus
Miguel Angel Sano, a Dominican shortstop considered by many as the top free agent teenage prospect in Latin America, will sign with the Minnesota Twins for a $3.15 million bonus, according to Sano's agent Rob Plummer.

The rumors about Sano's age seem to stem from the fact that his body type appears more advanced than a typical 16 year old. For that reason, many believe that even if Sano is the age he claims to be, he will likely have to play somewhere other than shortstop, perhaps third base or in the outfield. It's likely that Sano won't begin his professional career until next season. Sano would easily be the most heralded Latin American player signed by the Twins.
Seems like Smith is starting to tap into that market for position players a bit more than previously done.

While I am glad that they did sign him, I would like to see a big splash in the FA market this offsason. Lets go after someone who is proven and will help our lineup. I would like to see them re-sign Cabrera. He's been a great addition. I also like Rauch and Pavano. But I would like to get a better option than Crede/Harris/Punto at 3B.

okay then I will root the Red Sox because I hate the Yankees and I know they are the biggest
rivals to the Yankees then.

Don't really care about MLB or NBA at all.

Up 10-0 and we need Nathan to come in for a save????? WTF? I hope they do squeek into the playoffs, but with pitching like we do it'll short stint IMO. Im liking Gardy less and less all the time. He is way too hung up on pitch count for his starters and needs to look at the score, let the starter keep pitching, so we dont use 7-8 frigging guys in a game like that. Even if the starter gave up a few runs (which I doubt it'd be worse than the relievers did) we'd have a couple more fresh arms tonight.

Manship couldn't retire a batter to save his life in the 6th. That isn't Gardy's fault. Bit I know what you mean, and I totally agree with you. Hell, Verlander goes 120-130 pitches per game, and he does just fine.

Also remember that Manship hasn't played nearly as long...and he was called up near the end of the season...it's inexcusable but not the end of Manship.

Just remember, the Twins blew a 12-1 lead to lose the game against the A's of all teams earlier this season...pitching has been a problem all season but they've squared up at least a little better as of late...

LETS GO TWINS! SWEEEEEEEP!
