Eating my words after the Vikes traded back up to get a third first rounder and the WR they wanted!

Not sure if Troy Williamson.....oops...I mean Cordarelle Patterson is going to develop like they hope, but a great move to get him.

I was a little worked up they didn't go WR with one of those ...

The NFL is a passing and SCORING league! We had 2 first round picks... and have barely improved the ...

We pay 9 million a year for the Packers third best receiver... and with 2 first round picks we draft 2 players who wont have ANY impact on scoring more points. Maybe a new rookie nickel corner and someone to help with our already solid run defense.

Sorry - this is not a troll post. Im a Vikings fan. So I am not surprised they would OVERPAY for a 30 year old, injury prone receiver, on the tailing end of his career.

Randall Cobb caught 80 of 104 passes thrown his way last year for almost 1000 yards and 8 touchdowns... He is TWENTY TWO with tons ...

Jordy and Cobb at this point were #1 and #2 stat wise and talent wise at this point in his career.

So surprised that the Vikings overpaid for a 30 year old injury prone receiver past his prime!!!

7 seasons - FOUR shortened by injury. BOTH of the past 2 years with sprained knees and pulled groins!!!

This reeks. He doesn't want to sign with the Vikings or any other team, he's just looking for leverage in contract talks with GB.

Spielman is smart enough to see what's going on, and it's reassuring that he isn't rushing to overpay these WR FAs. He doesn't let his emotions cloud his judgement ...
