It's sad but he did live a long life and played in all our Super Bowls. Bud Grant said the greatest thing about Marshall when he said if you selected the top 25 all time Vikings and put out the magazine or catalog Jim Marshall would be on the cover. IMO that meant more than the HOF to Marshall.

He was before my time but I would have loved to see him play. It would have been nice to see him get the HOF for sure.
