The #Vikings have made exactly the same trade for Cam Akers, with two different teams, in a 13-month span.
Last year’s deal with the Rams was the same as today’s with the Texans: Vikings sent a conditional 2026 6th-rounder, in exchange for Akers and a conditional 2026 7th.

Think it’s a depth move but kind of surprised we give up picks for him again.

They just traded a 6th for a 7th to get him.

I think it's about depth too. Things were rough when Jones went down against the Jets.

Cam should still be familiar with the offense and the scheme. Good depth signing.
Surprised they waited so long to do something to bolster the running back room.

They may have had more faith in Chandler carrying the load alone if he had to before his performance with the Jets.

How about getting Dalvin Cook back?
