He did his job for us already. Other than that I don't care. Maybe we should reward him with a practice squad spot if he doesn't catch on somewhere else.

The Vikings didn't want him in the first place so I see no reason to bring him back.

Randy Moss?

If I did, I don't remember saying that, plus Moss was in a different situation when he was traded. He was the star receiver on the team and disgruntled. He wanted a change in scenery at that point in his career and a chance to win and the Vikings weren't in a great position as a team at that point. I wasn't happy they traded Moss, but given he wanted out it was probably the best move for him and for the Vikings.

For the record, I was very glad when Moss finished his career in Minnesota. He wasn't the same force as when he initially played for the team, but I think he always saw himself as a Viking first and foremost and I think most Vikings fans saw him that way too.

ISM is a marginal receiver who mainly would have gotten reps as a punt returner and didn't seem to thrive there in the preseason. Plus, as I understand it, he was fairly disruptive in the locker room. So, little on-field potential or production paired with locker room distraction would put him in a completely different situation from Moss anyway.
