This hire is just simply "another guy in the room". It's no different than Capers. They dont really have any sort of final say. Just there to help in any kind of way so I dont really mind it.

So let me get this straight.
We just hired a guy who was the defensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders to be our "guru."
The guy whose team finished 25th in total yards allowed, 26th in passing defense, 24th in rushing defense, and 30th in points allowed.
The guy who got fired mid-season because his team's defense was so bad.
And why did we hire this whiz? Because he worked for Zimmer in Cincinnati.
Sounds about right.

You know this how? Also, do we really need more voices with 2 DCs and a Defensive head coach? How much $$$ do the Wilfs have?
They are dropping a ton of $$$ on asst to the asst DC to the asst HC.... How many dang people do they need?
I need to get creative with a title to get on the payroll. Something no one else has ! If they have cash to just let Zimmer do whatever the hell with, then my God !!!!
I for one, and have never hid my opinions, am so completely over this guy as HC and our GM.

Zims only qualification for being a coach is that he is...well WAS....a defensive Guru.....now that it appears that is not the case, we are paying through the nose to have a Defensive Coach by committee......what a clusterF#$%....Vikes Org is a laughing stock
