I heard that Washington got into an accident on the way to the stadium today. No one was injured and the game should go on as scheduled.


Anyway, I am looking forward to a good game today. Skol Vikings.

Griffin won't have a good game.

I have no idea what to expect with our team today. Young team with new systems on offense and defense. We are going to have good and bad games. Consistency will elude us this year, at least until late in the season. I hope this is one of the good weeks. Close the gap on the Pukers and Lions, move ahead of the Bores.

Somehow, it doesn't seem right for you to refer to the "Pukers" and "Bores" and then just call the Lions "Lions". You need a derogatory name for them too, just for the sake of consistency!

We had two game threads so I've merged them. Yezzir, out of respect for the fact that you usually start them, I was going to have your post first (absolutely no offense intended, HardcoreVikesFan) but... well, I messed that up.

It doesn't matter. We have a game thread and thank you for both for getting the ball rolling today...

Now, which VMB member was driving one of those Redskins buses? I know it was one of you! Nicely done. Hopefully, this morning's Redskins bus crash will serve as a convenient metaphor for their performance on the field today

I see that Scott Crichton is active today for the first time. Not sure if he's been hurt or what but it will be interesting to see if he makes any kind of impact

I'm just hoping for some offense, last weeks game was pretty brutal to watch. We need a spark outside of Jennings/Patterson. Maybe it will be McKinnon, Ford, or maybe even a guy like Charles Johnson who was getting some good separation on deep routes. I just want someone to step up today....

He was actually active against St. Louis and Buffalo as well.

Argh I thought daylight savings ended tomorrow, woke up an hour too early. Wish they would get rid of that stupid thing, we're not farmers anymore.

I just stepped out onto the balcony of my apartment - it's a bit windy, but very comfortable temperature wise. The sun is shining - overall a beautiful day.
