Just saw this.... its really piling on. A month ago Peterson was my favorite player, the only jersey i have (besides my old moss one i got from wal mart 15 years ago) is his, all of my vikings shirts except one features him, i have a whole colelction of just his football cards and an autographed football.... my whole little Peterson world has been crushed. thankfully i have Teddy, Patterson and Smith to hold my hand through the tough times. I need to diversify a little better in the future.

Meh ... in reality these are unrelated things. Of the things he's done to lower my opinion of him, this is certainly at the bottom of the list.

In reality, had Peterson been high in the first place he probably wouldn't have spanked his kid, just tried to get along with him. Seriously though, he's got the eyes of the nation on him and is about to go to trial ... how big of an idiot can you be?

Before we hang 'em, lets wait and see what the drug test actually says. I don't think the court is going to do anything on the word of an employee in a drug testing center unless the test pops positive.

That's my perspective also. I couldn't care less about his use of pot, but given the circumstances, grow the heck up and make some good decisions.

If this report is true and the tests come back positive, I will start to worry about AD's mental health. We as fans have been thrown into this rollercoaster for AD and are quite despondent, but I can't even imagine what's going through his mind. He's gone from 2012 MVP of the league to possibly being suspended for multiple years (as he nears the end of his prime) in less than two years.

I think it's becoming painfully clear that Adrian Peterson's intelligence and judgement are as poor as his football talent is amazing. I kinda just want to shake him a little bit and shout "What's wrong with you!?!?"

Its not the act that i am so concerned about, its more the timing. Like you said, the whole country has him under a microscope right now. I get the feeling that he is oblivious to the actual trouble he could be in. Athletic ability and a smile can only get you out of so much trouble, all leneancy (sp?) for him has now run out.

The more I think about this, the more I wonder about his mental health. Something is not right... I don't understand it. It's like the part of his brain that does the logical thinking is completely not working. Why would he do something like this now? Maybe it is some sort of disease or something that came from too many hits to the head?
